Week 3: To Be Agnostic (post 4)

People all over are always contrmplating the existence of God and proof of his existence, they make it their life goak to find out if he does truly exist. He states in the beginning why he is an Agnostic and he says that an Agnostic is a doubter. He says that everyone is an Agnostic to other religions other than their own because when you believe firmly in one religion you are religious and support that certain religion, but same goes for a religion that you don't believe in and doubt what is practiced in that religion, you are than Agnostic to such other religions that you doubt. This makes very much sense. I' am Catholic, so therefore, I; am, automatically Agnostic to all other religions out there no matter what it is, and I have no choice but to be Agnostic to them unless I believe in them as well.

Clarence Darrow says that he is agnostic to the belief in God. He doesn't believe that humans can believe in such forms that we can't put a picture too for example he talks about the example of someone being asked if they believe in camels, and at that point they form a picture in their minds of an actual Camel and he says that that image has come from experience or knowledge of seeing one before or seeings pictures of one. He doesn't believe that such an image can come from the presence of God as a mental picture of our experiences. I don't know if I believe in this, yes i understand what he is talking about, but some people imagine what God looks like and there are movies out there and he has the same looks so yes, were not sure of that but its what we only know so we go with that image and believe in it and take it everywhere with us, those that believe in God of course.
