Week 1: Java Philosophy (post one)

From this video I got the idea of how many people can perceive life and all forms of existence, there was a quote that caught my attention about how life's choices can be possibly regretted. For example, "I see it all perfectly; there are two possible situations-- one can either do this or that. My honest opinion and my friendly advice is this: do it or do not do it--you will regret both."--Soren Kierkegaard. Based on this quotation, many may believe that by making choices that no matter what we will regret either decision in the end.

I have to disagree with this quote because when people make a choice at that time that was the choice that they had wanted to make even if it was a not so good choice in the end or a great one. People live and learn, so to say that our decisions will all be regretted is a false statement, because at that time it was exactly what the person wanted. Yes, they may look back at their choices later down the road, but overall no one is perfect and we all learn from our experiences; they make us stronger people overall! That's what we need to look at.
